For the moment, please take a look at just some of the opportunities available for students choosing to study abroad during the summer.

Summer Semester

Summer abroad is an excellent alternative to those who are unable to undertake an entire semester of study in another country. Oftentimes, students are discouraged by the cost of study abroad or faced with too many major requirements to contemplate being off-campus for an entire semester. While not as advantageous in many ways as a semester abroad, spending the summer in another country can be an excellent way to improve language skills and experience a new culture. Many UMass Dartmouth students opt for summer abroad as the perfect approach for their particular needs.

Our affiliated programs offer a number of opportunities for students seeking to spend the summer studying abroad. Australearn, not surprisingly, offers some opportunities for spending the summer in Australia. CIS, meanwhile, has summer study opportunities in England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Spain. Another good source for UMass Dartmouth students seeking summer opportunities to study abroad are the other UMass campuses.
