College Now Dell Netbook Scholarship
This Fall, CITS, in collaboration with Dell Computing, established a College Now Dell Netbook Scholarship. This pilot program,designed for the College Now entering freshman, furnishes each student with a Dell donated netbook. At the first general meeting of the College Now freshmen students on September 13, each student received a Dell donated netbook and will retain the computer for their career at UMass Dartmouth and will retain ownership after graduating from UMass Dartmouth. These UMass Dartmouth to the MAX netbooks are both WiFi and WiMAX compatible. Additionally, these freshmen will be the first students to use the Virtual Computer Lab.
