CITS Freshman Internship Program
CITS Freshman Internship Program
CITS established a Freshman Internship Program that focuses on developing IT skills and fosters connections for students with each other and the community. Funded by CITS, student interns work closely with IT professionals in CITS to acquire IT skills, attend a session sponsored by the Academic Resource Center and receive a $500 successful completion award that is added to their UMass Pass. Successful students may be offered employment by CITS during their career at UMass Dartmouth. During the four years of employment as IT Assistants, the students acquire invaluable experience that adds a unique advantage as they enter the workplace upon graduation.
