Neurogenesis in Embryonic Spinal Cord- Genetic and Epigenetic Studies


Abstract: 
Our lab is interested in understanding what causes the switch in the neural crest stem cells from a proliferative phenotype to a differentiating phenotype. Here we discuss that novel epigenetic marks on certain gene promoters in neural crest cells during mouse spinal cord development could be that switch.
