Enjoy a traditional homecoming weekend full of events, for alumni, parents, and the university community. Fall Festival showcases resident and student organizations through a processional parade to one of the fall athletic events.

Join us when the honors program recognizes students who have excelled academically in a variety of disciplines and colleges. This annual celebration brings together family, faculty, and students in the celebration of academic achievement.

Welcome Week

Meet new people and catch up with returning friends from years past during a week of fun activities. Sponsored by SAIL, Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership, Welcome Week includes outdoor festivities, dances, and novelty acts.

Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast

Focus on the visions and ideals of Dr. King with the community. This event features the Drum Major Awards, honoring individuals who made significant contributions toward realizing Dr. King's dream of equality, social justice, and peace.

Spring Fest

Participate with faculty and staff in this campus community event that guarantees lots of fun with carnival rides and novelty activities. Spring Fest typically offers entertainment ranging from local bands to larger national acts.

Freedom Festival

Freedom Festival

Enjoy our summer celebration at the Freedom Festival held on campus, featuring fireworks and a varied musical program, including a pops concert by the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.
