The UMass Dartmouth Campus Store sponsors book buyback events at the end of each semester and several days during the summer months. During buyback, the store offers cash, up to 50%, to students for books needed to fill faculty orders for the following semesters. Students must present their ID to receive cash.

Semester-end buyback hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and an evening until 6:00pm. Summer buyback is on the final day of class. Specific buyback dates and times can be found at the UMass Dartmouth Calendar of Events and on the Campus Store Facebook page. Deposit refunds on rental textbooks will also be handled at the book buyback counter. Rental textbooks have a yellow bar code sticker that lists the deposit refund amount.
