We Believe In The Liberal Arts

In the College of Arts and Sciences, we believe in the value of a liberal arts education. All of our classes provide you with the ability to deal with complexity and diversity. We teach you to think critically, problem-solve, communicate, and apply the knowledge you learn to the larger world.

We Offer You Many Possibilities

As the largest college at UMass Dartmouth, we offer 19 majors and 20 minors. And we are prepared to teach you wherever you are. To do that, we have online undergraduate completion degrees, along with a graduate degree in Public Policy and several graduate certificates.

We tailor our five graduate programs so that they fit your individual needs and experiences. Additionally, the School of Education, which is housed within the college, offers graduate degrees and teacher licensure programs.

Your Success Is Our Success

To make sure our students succeed, we developed many connections for you throughout the college. Every student works with a faculty advisor to discuss degree planning, internships, study abroad opportunities, and more. In addition, we created the STAR Center, which helps you find ways to enrich your academic experience.
