Dr. William Nelles is in his 18th year with Spotlight, his 13th serving as director. He is also a professor of English at UMass Dartmouth.
During his 32 years with the program, Trace Holmes, Spotlight's Program Coordinator, has served as a group leader, large group presenter, mini-course instructor, and group leader coordinator. He has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at Brown University, as well as AP European History at Dighton-Rehoboth High School.
