Undergraduates with a desire to enter the field of teaching are encouraged to minor in Education. While completion of the minor will not provide all of the necessary requirements for state licensure, much of the coursework is applicable to the Post Baccalaureate Program for Initial Licensure.
ADMISSIONS PROCESS
- Students will be considered after completion of 60 credits.
- Students will have at least a 2.75 overall GPA and a 3.00 GPA in their major. This standard is appropriate in that these students will be taking three graduate-level courses for the minor. Transfer students may use the GPA in their Major from their prior institution.
