Anicca Cox has recently arrived at UMass for the fall semester 2011. She has taught courses in Developmental Writing and Freshman Composition as well as teaching EFL abroad. She has published essays, poetry and newspaper columns on the topics of language, grief and recovery, travel, sustainability and community relationships related to growing food. Her areas of interest are teaching with technology and media and place-based educational writing practices.
