Professor Cohen came to UMass Dartmouth in 2005. Much of his recently published and forthcoming work focuses on the relationships between early modern literature and the history of science and technology. His first book Shakespeare and Technology: Dramatizing Early Modern Technological Revolutions was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2006. He recently completed a draft of a second book entitled Technology and the Early Modern Self, and he is currently working on a third book project entitled The Wonderful Worlds of William Shakespeare. He has published articles and review essays in The Sixteenth Century Journal, The Journal for Early Modern Cultural Studies, Shakespeare Yearbook, The Wordsworth Circle, and a number of essay collections.
