Dr. Buck received her PhD in English, Rhetoric and Writing from Ball State University. Her current research explores the connections between digital literacies and writing center scholarship, focusing particularly on the ways that writing center scholars engage (or do not engage) with work produced and/or disseminated on the web. Dr. Buck's scholarship on social media pedagogy has recently appeared in Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy and the collection Engaging 21st Century Writers with Social Media. In addition to teaching courses in the English department, Dr. Buck is also the Faculty Director of U Mass Dartmouth's Writing and Reading Center.
