Each course below is a three (3) credit course required for completion of the major:
PHL 110 Logical Thinking (PHL 235 Symbolic Logic may be substituted)

Philosophy Minor:
Selection of philosophy as a minor requires that the grade point average in one’s major be at least 2.5.
A Philosophy Minor requires 6 courses total:
(1) One three (3) credit course in the history of philosophy:
PHL 221 Hist. of Western Phil.: Ancient
or
PHL 222 History of Western Phil.: Modern
(2) One three (3) credit seminar course: PHL 409 Seminar OR one 300 level PHL course including an enhanced paper, assignment or presentation with the permission of the instructor.
Four additional three (3) credit courses selected from any area of concentration or the electives, with the understanding that at least two of the courses must be at the 300 level.
