Prof. Ingram's areas of expertise lie in comparative politics, judicial politics/public law, international relations, Latin American politics (focus on Mexico and Brazil), and research methods (qualitative and quantitative). His study of judicial councils in the Mexican states is forthcoming in Comparative Politics, and he has co-authored several policy and research reports on ongoing criminal justice reforms in Mexico (with David Shirk and Octavio Rodriguez), all of which are available online via the Justice in Mexico Project. In 2011-2012, Prof. Ingram is a Visiting Fellow at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame, where he is working on a book manuscript on subnational judicial reforms in Brazil and Mexico.
