| Dr. Glatzer’s research focuses on the politics of globalization, democracy and inequality in comparative perspective. He is the co-editor of Politics Matters: Globalization and the Future of the Welfare State (University of Pittsburgh Press) as well as Portugal: Strategic Options in a European Context (Lexington Books) and has also published in the journal South European Society and Politics. His most recent work is on the politics of taxation and inequality. In addition to courses on Europe and Latin America, he teaching interests include civic education, the media, globalization, social movements and the US military. Email: mglatzer@umassd.edu
