Avery Plaw Associate Professor of Political Science Ph.D. McGill University |
| Professor Plaw’s primary research and teaching interests are in contemporary political theory and the history of moral and political thought. He has published on these subjects in journals such as Social Theory and Practice, Politics and Ethics Review, Contemporary Review of Justice and Rethinking History. Prof. Plaw's most recent book is Targeting Terrorists: A License to Kill (Ashgate), and he also edited the book Frontiers of Diversity: Explorations of Contemporary Pluralism (Rodopi Press). His most recent article, "Terminating Terror: the Legality, Ethics and Effectiveness of Targeting Terrorists," was published in the journal Theoria.
