Current Research Project: Women, Feminism and Lawyering

Project details

I am currently engaged in research on the relationship of women to the law. Specifically, I am speaking with women who have attended law school regarding their views on legal education, legal practice and the adversarial system.

I am seeking women, in particular those who graduated from law school in one of three cohorts—1975-1980; 1985-1990; and 1995-2000. I don’t care what you have done since law school, ie., whether you have practiced law, or what you are doing at present. In fact I hope and expect to find a great deal of diversity in this population.

Interviews

Over the next several months I will be traveling around the country conducting interviews. The interviews are 45 minutes to an hour. If you are interested in being interviewed you can contact me, Susan Krumholz, at skrumholz@umassd.edu, subject line "Women and Law."

I do know that I will be in southern California in late January (2008), Arizona in March, and am generally available to travel throughout the northeast. Other locations will be determined by interest and availability.
