Series 2004/05
The Consortium for the Advancement of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (CATLS) co-sponsored a series of workshops and panel discussions designed to give faculty and staff the resources they need to source, write, and administer grants.
Workshops
Topics for the first session included: Grants Terminology and Sources of Grant Funds; The Sections of a Grant Proposal; Developing Goals and Objectives; and The Writing Process/Editing Tips.
Our second grants writing workshop focused on Developing a Budget; Writing Your Evaluation; Rubrics; and Dissemination Procedures.

Faculty who have been granted funds from the NIH, the NEH, ORR, and the NIH as well as other federal and state agencies held a discussion of the grants process. A question and answer period followed as did a discussion of the long-term needs of faculty.
