Corsair Sports

Corsair Sports is a 30-minute weekly program which is produced by the
UMass Dartmouth Athletic Department at the Dartmouth Community
Television studio located at Dartmouth Middle School on Slocum Road.

Corsair Sports airs each Sunday morning from Feb. 27 through April 24
on ABC 6 at 10:30 a.m. The program also airs on the DCTV system
which is carried throughout Dartmouth and the UMass Dartmouth campus.

Each week, the program features a five-minute interview with a member
of the UMass Dartmouth faculty or staff, focusing on whatever topic
the guest would like to talk about. In the past, faculty members have
talked about their research, promoted an upcoming speaking
engagement, ongoing research or other similar topics. The purpose of
this segment on the program is to highlight the academic community to
our audience which is made up of prospective students, their parents,
alumni and friends of UMD.

The program is produced by Jim Mullins in the Athletic Department.
He books the faculty guests on a first-come, first-served basis into
the weekly taping schedule. Generally the tapings occur on Monday
afternoons between 1 p.m and 2 p.m. at the DCTV studio.
