Non-Credit Course Proposal Form

You are invited to submit a proposal for a Non-Credit class through the Department of Continuing Education at UMass Dartmouth. Classes will be held morning, afternoons, and evenings, Mondays – Saturdays. Most classes will be held at the Professional and Continuing Education Center in Fall River. Proposals will be submitted to Dennis Paquette at dpaquette@umassd.edu, Tel: 508-678-3636, Fax: 508-678-1765.

Compensation for our non-credit Instructors is paid on an hourly basis. The hourly rate will be based on the level of course offered. Course time cannot exceed 42 hours. The hourly range is $30-$50. If you offer an online course, then your compensation will be based on a 50/50% split, based on the number of students who enroll.

Deadline to have your course listed in the DCE Fall brochure is April 15th, Spring brochure is September 15th, Summer brochure is January 10th. All courses will be listed on our website.

Submission Guidelines: Each Instructor wishing to submit a proposal will be responsible for the following information. Partial or incomplete proposals cannot be accepted.
