Grants Information
As part of CATLS's mission to increase cross-disciplinary conversations, we have partnered with the Office of Grants and Contracts (OGC). Through this joint effort, we encourage faculty and administration to seek out, collaborate, and share knowledge about successfully navigating the grants process. Specifically, CATLS is working with the OGC to:
- Facilitate the dissemination of internal and external grant opportunities
- Hold grants workshops where experienced faculty and visitors share their knowledge of the grants process
- Publicize to the UMD community the grants resources and help available to them
- Forge partnerships among faculty
- Encourage faculty to mentor each other and to include students in grantswriting and projects
- Make the entire grants process more accessible to UMD faculty and students
- Increase the amount of grant funds awarded to UMD from external sources
The Office of Grants and Contracts offers a range of services to the UMD community, including: research and information, proposal development and submission, and award negotiation. Learn more by following these links.
