The Instructional Development (ID) team is committed to empowering UMD faculty to use web-based technology to enrich the learning and teaching environment. Through web-based and face-to-face instruction, ID emphasizes a ‘reflective-practices’ approach to online teaching and seeks to make faculty and staff well-trained and self-sufficient users the Learning Management System, WebCT Vista.
