Special Events

UMD's Conferencing and Function Office is available to help plan and implement most on-campus events. They can:

  • help book a space
  • provide access to technical support
  • provide access to catering
  • provide access to beverage services
  • provide access to security services

Gain assistance planning and conducting on-campus through the Conference and Events Coordinator, Elizabeth Martin (X8143).

Scheduling Spaces

If you want to use a room during the academic semester for a specific event (whether instruction related or not), contact Colleen Wetterland (X8614) of the Registrar's Office for assistance and information about availability.

To schedule an event in the Library Browsing Area, contact Diane Gomes at x8879.

To request Audio/Visual equipment for a current room, please contact the Scheduling Desk at x8688. This line goes directly to voicemail, so to order equipment, you must leave a message.
