  • Only students enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree or certificate program at UMD.
  • Undergraduates must be taking six or more credit hours.
  • Graduate students must be registered as a degree candidate.
  • International students may not work more than 20 hours per week when school is in session. There are no exceptions.
How to list a job Hiring process
  • Students must submit a completed hiring form to the Student Employment Office in order to be hired.
  • A student who has never worked on campus before must also complete a W-4 and I-9.
  • The I-9 form requires that the student present original forms of identification to the Student Employment Office. These forms of identification are described in detail on the back of the I-9.
