The Career Experience Externship Program (CEEP) is administered by the Career Development Center via the division of Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) and provides an opportunity for UMass Dartmouth undergraduates to gain valuable work experience at UMD-sanctioned agencies/organizations. To be eligible to register for CEEP , students must have earned a minimum of 30 cumulative credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Students are required to work for a minimum total of 90 hours for a summer Externship or 45 hours for a shorter, winter Externship. The Program’s intention is to allow students to supplement their transcript with experience; UMD credit cannot be earned through this Program. Registration fees of $300.00 for summer externships and $200.00 for winter externships apply and must be paid at the time of registration. Upon completion of the Program, the student’s work attendance will be verified and the UMD-sanctioned Externship will appear on the student’s transcript. Please contact the Career Development Center for further information and application instructions.
