International Conference on Digital Factory
SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
In high precision manufacturing industries, digital systems are widely used to automate various systems and processes. The advances in microchip and computer technology have bridged the gap between traditional electronic control and process control engineering. The increasing demand on quality and productivity of products and services change the industrial dynamics on several fronts including economics, research, technical knowledge, cost, reliability, modernization and so on. To match these demands of increased quality at lower cost, more and more industries are moving towards digital technology. Digital based technology in modern systems established in every field is already changing the existing traditional systems. Besides globalised e-commerce, manufacturing with its growing knowledge is more and more being operated on internet platform also.
In conjunction with manufacturing globalisation, strategic alliance and supply networking, information and cyber technologies are changing manufacturing beyond traditional country and company boundaries. So, it is needed to do high quality research work before it can be fully explored as how to take advantage of the digital technology and transform it to the manufacturing competitive advantage. In order to fulfill these requirements this International Conference is being organized through which international community belonging to engineering, medical, finance and management fields are invited to participate. The ultimate objective of this conference is to construct linkages between industry and educational institutions among both researchers and practitioners of the several professional fields. The participation will enable the orientation of research and practice of professionals towards attaining the benefits of digital based modern technology.
Both academia and industries are invited to present their papers dealing with the state-of-art research and future developments. Conceptual, mathematical and simulation models, case studies and empirical research are welcome that deal with the following topics (but not limited to):
