A Half-Day Workshop

"Harnessing the Ocean's Economic Potential"

Sea-Food to Sea-Business

The South Coast fishing industry is a case study in resilient efficient exploitation. Cod, Herring, Clams, Whales, Tuna and Scallops have all contributed to its past and present success. The future however is uncertain. Dwindling fisheries, polluted ecosystems, global warming and increased regulatory control require revolutionary thinking.

This workshop focuses on those sea-food enterprises that are looking for new ideas and approaches to create sustainable superior business performance. Attendees will benefit by networking with other similar enterprises, business leaders, and researchers.
