Catharine Curran-Kelly recently joined the Charlton College of Business as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. Her areas of specialization include marketing to children, privacy, public policy and the application of market orientation to traditionally non-market based professions. Her current research focuses on how becoming market driven has affected the traditional professions of law, medicine and education.
Dr. Curran-Kelly has published in journals such as The Journal of Advertising, The Journal of Consumer Marketing, The Journal of Business Ethics, and Marketing Education Review.
She received her B.A. in Communication Studies from The Pennsylvania State University and her M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Business Administration from New Mexico State University. She came to UMass Dartmouth from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she was an Assistant Professor of Marketing. Prior to Creighton University she was a Senior Lecturer at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
