EVELYN THRASHER - PhD Candidate (Auburn University)

Evelyn Thrasher is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  She received her PhD in Management Information Systems from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from Auburn University. 

 

Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Dr. Thrasher was employed as an Advanced Systems Analyst with Eastman Chemical Company, Kingsport, TN, where she worked as an IT-business liaison to the Executive Management Team and the Finance Department for 11 years.  Her research focuses on information system success and value, particularly in the health care industry.  She has published in Omega and in the Proceedings of the Americas Conference on Information Systems.

 

Dr. Thrasher teaches The Business Organization, Introduction to MIS, and Cases in MIS.
