To complete the Business Foundations Graduate Certificate, students must fulfill the following curriculum coursework:
Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Law
If a student has demonstrable experience in any of the above four subject areas, substitute courses can be taken upon consultation with, and approval of, the program coordinator.
Length of the Business Foundations Graduate Certificate Program
Part time students may take 4 or more semesters to complete the program
Maximum length of time a student may stay enrolled is 10 years
Students must complete 12 total credits. Students will only receive credit for courses if they receive a final grade of B- (2.7) or higher. No course with a final grade of less than B- (2.7) will count toward the Graduate Certificate in Business Foundations graduation requirements.

The Business Foundations Graduate Certificate program develops and enhances business knowledge that enables participants to succeed in the challenging and dynamic management profession. The program’s graduates will:
- Develop an understanding statistics and analytical techniques
- Examine the environmental impacts of business operations
- Gain knowledge of basic accounting and finance concepts and practices
- Develop an understanding of legal and regulatory systems
