User ID: first initial, last name: Ex: efudd for Elmer Fudd

Password: you will provided with a temporary password

Go to: http://chalkandwire.com/umassd

1. In the empty fields at the top of the screen, enter your User ID and temporary password. Click OK.

2. Accept the terms of the C&W agreement if it appears.

3. On the Services screen, we have some tasks to perform before we enter the site

    a. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click on Change Password. Type in your own password twice. There are no password rules; you may use your UMass Dartmouth password if you like. Click OK.

    b. On the Services screen again, click on: If these are incorrect, please "click here to change details." Enter a password hint. Very important! This will enable you to use the Forgot Your Password option on the login page.

    c. You do not need to complete any other information on the page. Click OK.

    d. You are ready to enter the site.

4. On the Services screen, in the lower left-hand corner, you will see the ePortfolio logo in yellow. Click on this to enter the site. The next time you enter, you will click immediately on the logo.

5. You are now on the My Portfolios page. See Porfolio Instructions for setting up your site.
