The International Marketing/French Certificate Program
This certificate program is not administered by the College of Business.
The Omer E. and Laurette M. Boivin Center for French Language and Culture offers a Certificate Program in International Marketing/French. Any UMass Dartmouth student wishing to pursue the Certificate may apply to the Boivin Center through its Director for Entrance into the program.
Certificate Requirements
The certificate program requires the completion of eight courses (24 credits). Business students with a prior knowledge of French can complete all requirements for this certificate within the courses taken to earn their degree.
Students must have completed French courses through French 202, or have the equivalent knowledge of French. The Certificate of Studies in International Marketing will be awarded the diploma at graduation, providing that the student has at least a 2.5 grade point average in certificate courses.

Note:
Any two of the required courses in French will satisfy the Cultural and Artistic Literacy General Education degree requirement for all business majors.
ECO 231, ECO 232, MKT 211, FIN 312 are all required courses for all business majors
The third required French courses and the choice of either ECO 371 or ECO 372 will count as 6 of the required 12 credits in Non-Business electives for all business majors.
