Please join us for this Teaching and Learning Technologies Brown Bag Seminar on using wikis to support teaching and learning. Joanne Bedard, English Dept part-time lecturer, will discuss her use of wikis for collaborative writing and project management in her Business Communications course.
Although wikis have been around for a decade, they're just starting to take off in business and education. Wikis offer a dynamic platform for the writing process, and a tracking mechanism as the writing “product” develops. Despite their many possibilities, wikis remain simple enough for non-technical users to deal with. Now anyone can be a Web publisher!
Bring your lunch, ideas, and questions for this informative session.
