Finding your MAC (Media Access Control) Address
Windows 2000/XP
- Press the Start button, and then click on run.
- Type in cmd and hit OK.
- In the command window (that just popped up) type in ipconfig /all.
- Your MAC Address will be called Physical Address (xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx).

Windows 9x/ME
- Press the Start button, and then click on run.
- Type in winipcfg and hit OK.
- In the IP Configuration window select your Ethernet card by clicking on the down arrow.
- Your MAC Address will be called Adapter Address (xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx).

Mac OSX 10.3.x-10.4.x
- From the Apple menu, choose About this Mac. The About dialog box is displayed.
- Click the More Info button. The System Profiler application opens.
- Click to select the word Network in the left column.
- Click to select Built-in Ethernet in the list in the upper-right.
- Your MAC Address is shown in the lower-right side of the System Profile window, and is labeled as Ethernet Address or Hardware Address. It appears as a list of numbers and letters separated by colons; for example A1:00:B2:C3:00:D4.
