Text of Alma Mater
Mid forest green and stone walls gray
Our Alma Mater stands
As firm as rock that bounds our shore
She's known through-out the land;
From Buzzard's Bay to Old Cape Cod
'Neath blue banners flying free,
Her sons and daughters march with pride
To honor UMD.
A goodly heritage we share
A beacon from the past
To light our path through-out our lives
Where ever they are cast.
To Alma Mater, source of truth,
Our university,
We'll stand for right and justice e're
To honor UMD.
