Commencement Traffic Update

Every commencement, we institute some special traffic rules to keep the flow of people moving smoothly. Police will be posted; please listen to their directions.

Traffic flows one way around campus. When you first enter campus, you will be directed to turn right. You may not go left around campus.

You must park where directed to. You may not drop off passengers and come back, or park in a spot or parking lot closer to the proceedings. If you have passengers with special needs, please contact the campus ahead of your arrival to arrange your trip.

Please arrive early and prepared! Traffic will be backed up around campus and most likely down Old Wesport Road. Arriving early will ensure you have time to park, walk to the proceedings and find a seat, and will ensure graduates can sign in with their respective college and major. Food will not be available before commencement, so bring some snacks if you think you will be hungry.

If you need to leave soon after the activities finish, please factor exiting traffic into your plans and the time it will take to reach your destination.
