Rain Plans are in effect Sunday, May 24, 2009 (Undergraduate ceremony).
Due to the threat of rain and thunderstorms, the ceremonies have been moved indoors.
The entire University ceremony will take place in the Tripp Athletic Center and the ceremony will be broadcast live to each of the other rain locations. Following the University ceremony, the College activities will continue immediately thereafter at the same locations. The locations and most convenient parking lots are as follows:
- College of Arts & Sciences - Tripp Athletic Center -- Park in Lots 7-10
- Charlton College of Business - Main Auditorium -- Park in Lots 2-6
- College of Engineering - Woodland Commons -- Park in residential spaces near Woodlands, the Athletic Center, and Cedar Dell Village (shuttle provided).
- College of Nursing - Library Browsing Area -- Park in Lot 14
- College of Visual & Performing Arts - Campus Center -- Park in Lots 2-6
- Overflow viewing areas (Science and Engineering Rooms 226, 227, 228) -- Park in Lots 15-17
All undergraduate students and their guests should plan to arrive at these rain locations (as listed on their tickets) by 9:45 a.m.
Please note that in the event of rain, these alternate sites can only accommodate the graduating students and two guests per graduate. Guests will need their rain tickets. Additional guests may view the ceremony at the Science & Engineering lecture halls, rooms 226, 227, and 228.
