UMD Community Service Van Design Contest Prize $500
This is a great opportunity for all students to build your resume, enhance your portfolio and wallet.
The UMass Dartmouth Office of Community Service and Partnerships is holding a van design contest to help promote community service. Our fifteen passenger van that transports students to various service sites in the area, is ready for a makeover. The winning design will be based on creativity, budget and feasibility of implementation. Contest winner will be required to implement their design for completion by May 20th. The $500 prize will be presented upon completion of the van makeover with a photo opportunity for the local media.
The Contest Rules:
1) Budget must be under $1000 for the supplies and implementing the design.
2) UMass Dartmouth logo must be present
3) The design must promote community service and should atleast cover half the van.
4) Contestants must register for the contest by April 1st. For registration form click here or registration form can be picked up at The Office of Community Service and Partnerships.
5) Submissions must be received by April 13th no later than 5pm, drop off at the Office of Community Service and partnership located in the ground floor of Liberal Arts Building (Group 1) room 23, put it in the folder on the door or slide under the door.
6) 3 Finalists will present their ideas to judge panel between April 20th-21th. We will make appointments accordingly.
7) Winner will be notified by April 24th
