REST HOMES

All programs may now require their own CORI. Most will require a meeting with the volunteer to see what activities would work and what times will work for you and the program residents.

When you call a site remember to tell them that you will be there as a volunteer. Many people forget about Compeer when they haven't had a volunteer for awhile or only had a volunteer occasionally. Also some programs are new to having Compeer volunteers. Enjoy!

Sun Bridge Care Center for Rosewood

A large rest home with many DMH clients. Residents are available evenings. Like to play bingo, some enjoy arts and crafts, help with letter writing, some enjoy games etc. Call to set up a time to meet and arrange your schedule for volunteering and discuss possible activities you would like to do.
