Workshops
updated: 7-1-99
Faculty Sub Program If you have a scheduled absence (conference, religious holiday, etc.), we would be happy to do a workshop with your class. We suggest Time Management, Stress Management, Relationship Skills, MegaMemory, or Career Interest Exploration. Other topics are available upon request. In the past faculty have requested workshops on Performance Anxiety for music students and on team building for classes struggling with group projects. We would also be especially interested in meeting with freshmen liberal arts classes to do career interest testing and provide assistance with solidifying the choice of a major. Click here for a form to request a workshop. We'll need to know the number of students, time and place, and whether the class is mostly under or upper classmen.
Attention Residential Assistants: If you would like a member of the UMass Counseling Center team to run a workshop for your students, please contact call X8650 to set up a time and place.
Graduate School Workshop - Offered once each semester. Focus on choosing a program, the application process, financing. Call the Counseling Center to reserve a spot.
