The Career Resource Center exists to help all University of Massachusetts of Dartmouth students identify and achieve their career goals. We are committed to providing resources and services to students and alumni/ae based on the fundamental belief that career decision-making is a lifelong process, integral to the University's educational objectives.

It is vital that we:

• provide career counseling and help with job search skills
• help connect students with educational, internship, and employment opportunities
• help students integrate their academic and career development

We will accomplish these objectives by:

• maintaining and utilizing state-of-the-art resources
• encouraging individual responsibility by balancing challenge and support working collaboratively with employers, alumni/ae, faculty, staff, and other external partners, as appropriate
• communicating effectively with people both inside and outside our office
• maintaining an awareness of constituent perceptions
