

Admissions Overview
CVPA is a community of learners committed to developing individual creative potential by exploring the symbols and language of the visual and performing arts. All applicants for admission to any one of the major undergraduate programs in visual art must meet portfolio requirements as an element in the department's admission decision. Depending on the students' areas of study, additional materials may be required. All applicants to CVPA's music program, an undergraduate degree, are required to audition.
All applicants for admission to any one of the College's graduate degree programs must follow the procedures specific to individual areas of study.
All applicants to the College of Visual and Performing Arts must follow UMass Dartmouth admissions procedures detailed in the University Catalogues.
