Digital Media Courses

All courses deal with the following Formal/Aesthetic Concerns: theme and variation, typography, composition/balance, visual hierarchy, unity (proximity, repetition, continuance, continuity), emphasis/focal point (contrast, isolation, placement), scale/proportion, rhythm, line/shape/volume, figure/ground, positive/negative space, texture, illusion of space, value, color, layering, transparency, light, and cropping.

*In addition, animation courses are also concerned with - the relationship between point, line, plane and volume, depth of
field and anatomy.
