DISNARDA PINILLA - MFA in Sculpture, 2006

CVPA alumna Disnarda Pinilla has been awarded the prestigious International Sculpture Center's (ISC) Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award for 2006.

She received the award while she was a CVPA MFA Sculpture student. She is one of twenty-two award recipients whose work will be featured in the Grounds For Sculpture's Fall/Winter Exhibition, on view through April 29, 2007, in Hamilton, New Jersey. Pinilla's award-winning work, During the Night, was also included in Grounds for Sculpture's 2006 Fall/Winter Exhibitions Catalogue and featured in the October 2006 issue of the International Sculpture Center's award winning publication Sculpture Magazine as well as on the ISC Website.

Disnarda is currently working at G.A.S.P (Gallery Artists Studio Projects) in Brookline, Massachusetts, as a Gallery Installation Assistant.
