BRUCE MADDOCKS: Biography
Bruce Maddocks earned his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1983. Ever since then, he has worked as a freelance illustrator. His editorial work has appeared in, among other publications, The Boston Globe, The New Age Journal and The Technology Review. His graphic icons have been commissioned by clients as diverse as The Jobs for Peace Campaign, the Dexter Chemical Corporation and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Since 1998, Mr. Maddocks has been a Visiting Lecturer in the Design Department, where he teaches illustration. In 2003, he became Director of the CVPA's Foundations Program in the Studio Arts.
