Student Scholarship Information
If you are applying for a need-based scholarship, fill out a single need-based scholarship form and return it to the financial aid office. DO NOT fill out an individual form for each scholarship! If you are applying for a CVPA merit-based scholarship, fill out a single merit-based scholarship form. Make a copy for each scholarship you intend to apply for and forward your application(s) under separate cover to the office or department responsible for awarding the particular scholarship. | Karon Richardson Doherty Memorial Scholarship | To assist undergraduate or graduate students who are studying ceramics. | Barbara Eckhardt Memorial Scholarship Fund | Full time undergradute or graduate student in Fiber Arts in College of Visual & Performing Arts. | $1500-$2000 | No formal application process. |
| Samuel Gamburd Memorial Art Scholarship | For a graduate or undergraduate UMD student in the College of Visual and Performing Arts who is majoring in design or fine arts. In odd-numbered years, the scholarship is available for students in the Design Dept. In even-numbered years, the scholarship is for students in the Fine Arts Dept.
