MINISALON: Czechoslovakia’s Dissident Artistic Voice
244 small works created in secrecy by individual
artists in 1984 as an act of freedom in the face of communist cultural
repression. A symbol of the strength of the dissident voice, the
collection has been declared a Czech National Treasure.
The
exhibition was organized by Joska Skalnik and Artforum-Jazz section
in Prague.
The tour of the exhibition in the US was organized by Marcia Kreitman,
Arts Consultant/Management and the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood,
Florida.
