The Visual Resource Center (formerly known as the Slide Library) evolved in response to curricula needs of the university, in particular the art and art history departments. The VRC acquires visual materials in the form of slides and digitized images to support classroom instruction and the study needs of the UMass Dartmouth. The materials collected encompass a broad scope of subjects related to western and non-western art and cultures from prehistoric to contemporary periods. All images are available for educational use consistent with the CCUMC Fair Use Guidelines for Educational Multimedia.
