Media Resources & Visual Literacy Support

Visual Resource Center offers a wide selection of digital and analog services to meet the academic needs of students and to support faculty with visual literacy, instruction and publication.

The VRC provides support to students and faculty to implement the ACRL’s Visual Literacy Standards for Higher Education

INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES

  • Visual Literacy Instructional Support - Work with faculty members to develop interactive student assignments and visual literacy instruction that incorporate images, multimedia and web based content.
  • Teaching & Learning - Provide instructional support of faculty and students
  • Research Assistance - For faculty and students with obtaining image and media resources for instruction and research
  • Training - Provide instruction in LUNA & CAMIO database systems, digital transfer equipment and utilization of image & multimedia in classroom instruction
  • Self-Serve Digital Conversion Stations - Provide self-serve stations that enable faculty to create, digital  images and multimedia presentations and PDF resources for the classroom instruction
  • Instructional Equipment - Provide digital projectors, laptops, cables for instruction & student presentations (CVPA main campus only)
