Visual Resource Center - More images & multimedia collections on UMassD campus

In addition to digital database systems, LUNA & CAMIO, the Visual Resource Center (VRC) possesses more than 75,00 digital resources in house. Faculty and students may view the VRC's entire digital holdings at our facility (located in Group VI Rm 253) or at the IT labs at Star Store.

ACCESS/DELIVERY

VRC offers an electronic delivery service that allows faculty to retrieve digital image & media content from their office desktops, or if preferred, delivered on CDs/DVDs. 

COLLECTION/ARRANGEMENT

VRC's digital holdings are housed within a series of desktop folders and arranged under broad geographical, genre, and topical headings. Within each folder is a series of sub-folders categorized by artist surname, country, community, or tribe.

Please note: VRC is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 4:30, and Tuesday evenings until 7:00. Although VRC makes every effort to remain open during our posted hours; we do close periodically for meetings. If time is a factor; please call ahead.
